ESGR MISSION ESGR is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. Its mission is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the law, and resolving conflicts.
ESGR STRATEGIC GOALS · Gain support from all identified Reserve Component (RC) employers. · Advocate for RC employers within DoD. · Educate customers and stakeholders. · Transform ESGR organizational structure.

Today’s Citizen Soldiers face unique challenges in balancing their military and civilian careers.
USERRA protects the job rights of employees who perform military service. ESGR is the DoD resource for employers and service members regarding USERRA.
